I took a trip up to Mariposa and Yosemite last weekend and wanted to share some of my experience! Mariposa was such a cute little old fashion mining town. Very small with not much to do except enjoy the great outdoors! Definitely different from Huntington Beach!! Yosemite is about 30 minutes outside Mariposa, and a beautiful drive it is. It was like entering another world of nature and serenity. The massive rocks and trees create their own world of beauty. The animals are not as afraid of people as i would have imagined. The deers and squirrels did not hesitate to come close! It was so much fun to swim in the creeks and hike to the waterfalls!
